Deliberating the Investment of Public Funds for Project W97004, the Greenseams® Program: One Easement Acquisition of Real Property in the Milwaukee River Watershed through a Partnership with the Mequon Nature Preserve

Body

RESOLVED, by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage Commission, that the Executive Director is authorized and directed to:

 

•                     Acquire the necessary property interests of the K&L Trust LLC, Allen D. Kohl (Mequon Nature Preserve) property totaling 6.38 acres.

 

•                     Execute on behalf of the Commission all partnership agreements, contracts for sale of real estate, leases, conservation easements, or any other related real estate documents necessary to acquire said property.

 

•                     Expend funds for the Greenseams® conservation easement purchase in an amount not to exceed $50,000.
