Resolution Commending Commissioner Nikiya Harris Dodd for Dedicated Service on the Commission of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District

Body

WHEREAS, Nikiya Harris Dodd, was appointed to the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) Board of Commissioners on December 16, 2014, by the Mayor of the City of Milwaukee, and served through January 3, 2017; and

WHEREAS, during her tenure, Commissioner Harris Dodd served as a member on the Operations Committee from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Commissioner Harris Dodd led by example in encouraging collaboration among MMSD, businesses, citizens, the City of Milwaukee, and state and federal agencies for the redevelopment and watershed restoration in the 30^th Street Industrial Corridor and in advocating for economic opportunities to small, minority, and local businesses in the region.

now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Commissioners of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District hereby extend to Nikiya Harris Dodd their sincere appreciation for dedicated service to the citizens and taxpayers of the Milwaukee Metropolitan area.
